Amazon will adjust logistics costs and sales commission in the US station in 2024, reduce the commission of clothing goods, introduce FBA new product warehousing concessions and Vine plan lower rates, and introduce warehousing configuration service fees to optimize inventory allocation, and charge fees for low-volume inventory goods. These changes are designed to optimize seller services and reduce operating costs.

According to the latest adjustment officially announced by Amazon, there have been some changes in Amazon logistics fees and sales commissions for the US station in 2024. Here are some important fee updates:
1. Sales commission category:
For clothing items priced below $15, the sales commission will be reduced from 17% to 5%.
For clothing items priced between $15 and $20, sales commissions will be reduced from 17% to 10%.
Commission on sales of other goods remains unchanged.

2. Amazon Logistics new product warehousing discount plan:
For new FBA products, we offer an average 10% sales commission refund, and eligible non-brand products can also enjoy this interest.
In addition, Amazon will expand the scope of eligibility for large items to participate in the program and provide Vine product-related benefits to eligible sellers and related items.
3. Amazon Vine plans Lower rates:
Applicable to items registered for the program on or after October 19, 2023 US time.
4. Storage configuration service fee:
The fee reflects the cost of moving a seller's inventory to an operations center closer to the consumer, while also reducing Amazon Logistics (FBA) delivery fees.
Standard size items cost an average of $0.27 per item and large items cost an average of $1.58 per item.
Sellers can choose whether to send their shipments to a single location or multiple locations, and depending on the choice, fees can be reduced or even waived.
5. Low volume inventory fee:
Charge for standard-size goods, applicable to goods whose inventory remains too low for a long time compared to their sales.
Sellers can avoid paying this fee as long as they maintain inventory for more than four weeks based on the amount of goods sold. Amazon's logistics fee changes are aimed at providing sellers with better and more efficient services and reducing operating costs. When choosing logistics channels, sellers should pay close attention to these changes to develop reasonable inventory management strategies, improve logistics efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
